Finally the trouble maker is here!
{ that's what I call him }
He finally arrived with my grandfather and as soon as he entered the house he came to me and started pinching my hand to make himself believe that his enemy is right in front of him and he is not daydreaming!

I and Mom had prepared food for him, the things he likes, his room was tidy and things were arranged nicely for this tiny boy. He was so happy as well to see the table set specially for him. He was welcomed with prestige.

Later, we had food, he enjoyed eating the cupcakes and puff-pastry pizza I made for him. The bell rang, and my sister joined us along with her husband. Wow! What a day!

At the time of opening his gift (from Me) he was so excited about knowing what's wrapped inside. Everyone was waiting to see his expressions when he opens that. (PS. Just Me and my Mom knew what was inside) Ahh! for his surprise, inside was a Doll's House! :D He was really mad at me, and went towards to balcony to throw it away (lol). (I did this only because I always tease him that I will make you a doll and this thing irritates him a lot, also he hates girls!!!)

After so many chit chats, cups and cups of tea, family gathering, laughter and distribution of gift items sent by the relatives in Pakistan to all of us, it was finally 1 am, everyone was yawning |-O

My sister and her husband left, mom went in the kitchen, elder brother went to his room to sleep, I and my this little younger brother jumped on the bed, fighting for more space to sleep, fighting over the blankets, he grabbed the one he liked, and I was left with the bad one :(, fighting for the pillow, he covered his face with blanket and pretended to sleep, I pinched him and asked to give me some time as well. Then we had nice friendly talks, talking about this and that, here and there.

The best thing was, when I asked him if he missed me there, first he replied "Not much", when I forced him to tell the truth, he said "Sometimes very little, sometimes A Lot!"

{ my daily breakfast. }

It is importance for all of us to start the day with a good breakfast, that should be both healthy and nutritious. Above pictures show my breakfast. I get proteins from boiled eggs, carbohydrates from brown bread and vitamins from fresh orange or grapefruit juice (no sugar added). This helps and keeps me away from the starvation to lose weight, and doesn't makes me feels hungry till the time of lunch.

Kids Need Their Morning Meal
While adults need to eat breakfast each day to perform their best, kids need it even more. Their growing bodies and developing brains rely heavily on the regular intake of food. When kids skip breakfast, they can end up going for as long as eighteen hours without food, and this period of semistarvation can create a lot of physical, intellectual, and behavioral problems for them.

A Good Investment

If you and your kids regularly skip breakfast in the interest of saving time or getting a few more minutes of sleep, remember that eating a wholesome, nutritious morning meal will probably save you time in the long run. By recharging your brain and your body, you'll be more efficient in just about everything you do. Interestingly, studies show that kids who skip breakfast are tardy and absent from school more often than children who eat breakfast on a regular basis. Preparing a good breakfast can be as quick and easy as splashing some milk over cereal. Time invested in breakfast is much more valuable than the few extra minutes of sleep you might get by bypassing the morning meal. If you and your kids seem unable to make time for breakfast, consider enrolling your children in a school breakfast program, if possible, or pack a breakfast brown-bag the night before so that you and your kids can eat on the way to school and work.

Break the Fast to Shed the Pounds

Some people skip breakfast in an effort to lose weight, but the practice is more likely to cause weight gain than weight loss. Skipping breakfast is strongly linked to the development of obesity.According to research, skipping meals, especially breakfast, can actually make weight control more difficult. Breakfast skippers tend to eat more food than usual at the next meal or nibble on high-calorie snacks to stave off hunger. Several studies suggest that people tend to accumulate more body fat when they eat fewer, larger meals than when they eat the same number of calories in smaller, more frequent meals. To teens, especially teenage girls, skipping breakfast may seem like a perfectly logical way to cut down on calories and lose weight. It's important for moms to educate their kids about the importance of the morning meal and the role it plays in maintaining good health and preventing obesity.

I slept very late last night, but now I am awake and feeling fresh. Seems like I am ready for everything, and I have a long day to go. So many plans for today with the rise of the sun's first ray. First I had breakfast with my mom then clean up the house and help my mom with some school work, watched television. Now sitting here and downloading few scrapbooks. Will go out today with mom and her friend.
I am so much excited for my brother's arrival from Pakistan. He is coming after four days. I will cook his favourite baked macaroni and cupcakes. For those who don't know about him, let me tell you he is my 10 year old younger brother, 6th grade student, active, joyful, funny and my worst enemy! We both fight a lot but I miss my brother when I am away from him, and I hope he feels the same too .
Now that he is coming back after spending his Hajj Vacation with our family back home, I want to welcome him with all my heart. I want to make him feel special.

Time to go back to work. Enjoy your day!

Inspiration is the fuel for our minds and bodies – although some would say it actually is coffee :) If our inspiration stream dries out, things are slowing down, we don’t know how to start, how to continue and how to finish the tasks we are working on. Our mind gets distracted very fast and we just can not focus on what is needed. Or we are just trying to put the colors, shapes and letters to the right place and just feel that it doesn’t feel the right way.
We always have two choices – to give up, or not to give up and get inspired. I want to share with you the blogs I get inspired from when my inspiration stream feels dried.
